Three apps. One Pitols.

Getting started

1. Open Pitols. The home screen shows three tiles — one for each app: Daily Space, Interface Customization, and Metrics. Click a tile to open that app.
2. Choose your theme and language in Settings: switch between Dark and Light, and between English and Arabic (the whole app flips to right-to-left in Arabic).
3. Turn on Individual Application Mode if you want each app to open as its own separate window with its own taskbar icon.
4. Pitols keeps everything on your device — there is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

Creating and writing notes

1. Click “New note” to create a note. Give it a title and start typing in the editor.
2. Use the formatting tools to style your text — change the text color and add a highlight to make key lines stand out.
3. Your work saves automatically as you type — there is no Save button to remember.

Adding images, sound and media

1. Click “Insert”, then “Image” to place a picture directly inside the note.
2. Choose “Sound” to attach or record audio; you can set its length in seconds.
3. Media lives inside the note itself, so it travels with the note wherever you view it.

Categories and organization

1. Create categories to group your notes — for example General, Work or Personal.
2. Give each category a color and an icon; you can even upload your own image as the icon.
3. Use the category list to filter, and the search box to find any note instantly by its text.

Reminders

1. Open a note’s reminder and pick a date and time — or use a quick shortcut like Today or This week.
2. When the time comes, Pitols shows a notification and plays a built-in chime so you don’t miss it.

Private notes and locks

1. Lock a single note to protect editing it, or lock a whole category so its notes aren’t even listed until you unlock it.
2. Set your lock password when prompted; you’ll enter it to open the locked note or folder later.

Desktop sticky notes

1. Pin a note to the desktop to turn it into a sticky note that stays in view while you work.
2. Drag a sticky note anywhere, and close it from its own ✕ when you’re done — the original note stays safe in Daily Space.

The custom taskbar

1. Turn on the Pitols taskbar to replace the standard Windows one with your own.
2. Set the shape: choose Square corners or add Rounding, and set the Border thickness — or choose No border.
3. Tune the look with the Background colour, Opacity and Background shading controls.
4. Set the taskbar height and its direction — pack items to the left or center them.
5. On more than one screen, use the monitor tabs to give each display its own taskbar settings.
6. Pin and unpin your apps to the bar, and optionally turn on “Hide the real taskbar” to show only yours.

Smooth auto-hide

1. Turn on Auto-hide so the taskbar slides away when you’re not using it.
2. Adjust the reveal and hide timing so the bar appears the instant you reach the edge and tucks away smoothly after.

Wallpapers & the Pexels engine

1. Open the Background tool and pick your own image, or drop in a video for a living, moving wallpaper.
2. Type a keyword in the Pexels search box to browse a huge library of photos and videos.
3. Click a result to apply it as your wallpaper; on multiple screens, set a different one per display.

Sound themes

1. Assign your own audio to system moments — startup, shutdown, sign-in and sign-out — and preview each one.
2. Save your choices as a sound theme so your whole soundscape switches together.

Custom & animated cursors

1. Pick a cursor scheme, then set its size and color to suit you.
2. Choose an animated pointer for a bit of motion, and apply it in one click.
3. Changed your mind? Revert to your previous cursor anytime — your original setup is always one click away.

Reading the frame rate (FPS)

1. The FPS panel shows how many frames per second your screen is drawing right now, updating live.
2. Each reading is shown four ways: Current, Minimum, Maximum, and the Hourly average — so you can see both the moment and the trend.

Reading resource usage

1. The Usage panel lists your system’s resource use, each row with the same Current / Min / Max / Hourly-average columns.
2. Watch the Current column for what’s busy right now, and the Max column to spot spikes over time.

Sending a panel to the desktop

1. Each panel has a gear button on its header. Click it to open the widget options for that panel.
2. Style the widget the way you like, then deploy it — it appears on your desktop as a live, always-updating overlay.
3. Your desktop widgets come back automatically the next time you start your PC. Remove one at any time from the same gear button.
